Cam loves to get out in nature by boat and on foot, and it’s there – in the wilds of Great Barrier Island – that the idea for Velox was born.
After developing a rival software product in 2003, Cam saw an opportunity to better meet the needs of aspiring enterprises. His solution was an integration platform with five core pillars – Performance, Reliability, Flexibility, Visibility, and Cost.
Now with the benefit of 25+ years’ integration experience, Cam keeps in close contact with customers to understand exactly what they need from their integration platform.
He loves giving small businesses the tools they need to grow and compete with larger enterprises, and focuses on developing awesome new features that do just that – making routine jobs easier and taking the boring bits out of doing business.
Simon brings over 20 years of experience in the software industry, having worked in both New Zealand and the UK. For the past five years, he has focused on the integration and middleware sector.
In his last role Simon successfully led the new business function across ANZ. His wealth of knowledge and experience is a valuable asset to the Velox team.
Simon’s motivation for working in integration and EDI is to help businesses get the most out of their systems, improve their business processes and help maximise their integration software investments.
In his downtime, Simon enjoys plenty of DIY projects around the house and engaging in sports, though he finds himself spectating more than participating these days.
Kevin has worked closely with Cam since 2009, straight after completing his Bachelor of Business and Information Management degree. He narrowly avoided a career in accounting, and has been counting his blessings ever since that he went into integration instead.
As the Customer Succcess Lead, Kevin’s focus is on helping customers get the most out of their investment in integration software by tailoring Velox’s powerful capabilities to their exact needs.
After a tough day of helping Velox customers switch off from work, you’d think he deserved a break himself. But there’s no rest for Kevin with a nearly 2-year-old waiting for him at home – it’s full throttle every minute.
Nick’s client-side background in EDI and integration gives him a valuable insider’s perspective when it comes to helping Velox customers get the most out of the platform.
After gaining his Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, Nick worked in IT for a multinational import and distribution wholesaler, so he knows exactly how to streamline and optimise business workflows with technology.
Nick’s goal is to help Velox customers experience the transformative impact of automation, and he thrives on helping people free up their time to focus on strategic, value-driven work that propels their company forward.
Outside of work, Nick recharges by getting outdoors, and spends time working with his hands upcycling old wooden materials into new creations.
