Velox’s reliability and flexible customer support help logistics software provider TLP Systems switch on to autopilot.
Specialist logistics software company TLP Systems provides innovative transport management solutions to the Australasian logistics sector.
TLP’s integrated software suite is used by transport and storage companies to manage their businesses, fleets and accounts with minimal manual handling and maximum efficiency.
Co-founder of TLP Systems, Paul Shepherd, says EDI integration has always been an integral part of their service offering to their customers. Having previously worked with Velox’s creators, Paul says they were keen to continue that relationship when Velox hit the market.
“A lot of our customers need EDI to manage the files coming in and out of their businesses”, says Paul, “so when Cameron and his team launched Velox, it was an easy decision to switch, because we’ve known and worked with them successfully for a long time.”
While several of TLP’s customers were already set up with another EDI platform, Paul says they were frustrated with the lack of product updates and constant reliability issues. After switching to Velox, those issues became a thing of the past.
“We initially set up Velox for clients who didn’t already have an EDI solution,” says Paul, “but once we saw how much of an improvement it was, we migrated all our clients over from other EDI software too. It’s much more reliable than the other software we were using.”
“There’s always been a really strong development path for Velox,” Paul continues. “We could see how the software was going to be constantly updated and improved with new features. Velox also includes Managed File Transfer (MFT) protocols that the other software just couldn’t do.”
With Velox, Paul says he now enjoys a much greater level of support than he ever did before.
“With our previous EDI supplier, we used to get charged for everything, every time we got in touch with them it would cost us. With Velox we get great support as part of our partnership with them, without it costing us anything additional. And the team has a great level of knowledge about EDI processes and integration.”
As a Velox partner, TLP also enjoy free training and support to upskill their team. And when required, the Velox team offer additional project delivery support, which Paul says gives them total confidence to recommend and deliver Velox to their customers.
The level of support they get with Velox has been a game-changer for TLP Systems, says Paul, who now enjoys the freedom to switch off from work without worrying about his clients. Case in point – Paul is taking off on a business trip this week, so he gave the Velox team a quick call and asked them to check in on a few of his clients while he’s away.
“I can pretty much switch my business onto autopilot because we have so few issues now,” says Paul, “and the team at Velox are always happy to go over and above for us. I’d definitely recommend switching onto Velox.”
